The morning after Gentlemen of the Road, Elizabeth, Emma and I went to breakfast at The Front Room in Portland's East End. It is a tiny little restaurant on the ground floor of a residential building with an open kitchen. We sat at the bar and talked with regulars while we ate some of the most delicious eggs, toast and homefries I've had in a while.
Okay...I didn't know that TOAST could look so good. Too bad we didn't know about this place before we hit up Portland...our dinner was a let-down. =/

ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend Zan and I gave our friend's a gift certificate there when they got married. Then, when we went up to Portland to visit last winter, we all went out to dinner there together. What a fun time. I love that place.
